Description

one of 4 illustrations for Red Wedding. A Shadowfist CCG expansion set that came out last year. Been awhile since i added anything and figured this would be something to get the ball rolling again. This is one of the images i might end up going back and polishing up a lot more, even though it's already been printed.

Nice concept work, as always (you know I'm your biggest fan right?). It's a bit more 'speedy' than the stuff you usually do, and it wouldn't hurt to see a bit more contrast and details. It's a little too much white and grey if you ask me.
I definitely like the guy in black most! He's just kick-ass. And, the poses are great. Glad to see you posting here again!

Thanks a lot, Tae! Yeah, a lot of my stuff has been rushed recently, which isn't a good excuse. I really need to work on an appropriate level of "polish" to reach on all my stuff. Fortunately this piece reduced well and looks decent on the card. the monitor and chair, and the figure in the BG aren't as embarrasing

Kind of monochromatic and unevenly finished: some parts are polished to precision, while others are blotty. It could be used as a device, but here it just looks left half done.

Vary your colors, do not shade things with black and white. And never use neutral gray unless you need it for a specific purpose - it's not a color.
